No. Veriso is a first-opinion tool: it helps you understand what you likely have and decide whether the work deserves a full appraisal. For insurance, estates, donations or an important sale, a signed appraisal by a qualified professional is still needed.

It varies by artwork. It is strongest when a clear signature matches a documented artist and comparable sales exist; it is weaker for unsigned, decorative or heavily restored works, and with blurry photos. Every hypothesis shows a confidence level and the evidence behind it.

No. Reports are produced by AI models and automated cross-checks; no human specialist reviews them before delivery. The team reads flagged feedback and corrections to improve the system. For a human opinion, the Pro plan suggests experts and committees to contact.

No. Veriso provides indicative, AI-assisted estimates based on visual and market data. Only a recognized expert, committee or catalogue raisonné holder can authenticate a work.

Report it with the “Help improve this analysis” link at the bottom of the report or email hello@veriso.art with the analysis link and what you know (documents, an expert's opinion). Adding a sharp close-up of the signature and a photo of the back often improves the result. Subscriptions are fully refundable within 14 days of purchase.

We analyze your photos, dimensions, medium, and any signatures/labels, compare them to similar works and sales, and produce a preliminary range. It is not a formal appraisal.

Not on its own. Most insurers require a formal appraisal for valuable items. The Veriso PDF report can serve as supporting documentation — check with your insurer — and helps you see which works deserve an appraisal.

We suggest a route: local/regional auction houses (based on your location) or an online marketplace listing. You can also sell via eBay — our guidance helps you choose title, category, and price range.

Your photos and details are used to run your analysis and, in aggregate, to improve our models. They are processed by our service providers, including the AI models that perform the analysis. We do not sell your personal data or publish your analyses without your consent.

Yes. Email hello@veriso.art to delete specific analyses or your account.

Subscriptions are purchased on the website, where payments are processed securely by Paddle. Your plan also applies in the mobile apps once you sign in.

Subscriptions are fully refundable within 14 days of purchase: email us with your order details. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.
